Dr. Angela Chiu
Dr. Angela was born in Taiwan and moved to Canada with her family when she was 14. After graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Computing in 2007, Dr. Angela decided to come home to Vancouver to pursuit her newly discovered passion, Dentistry.
She always has a passion in art and a super scientific mind; she always wonders what she can do with her skills to give back to the community.

To Dr. Angela, dentistry is a combination of art and science. She finds her purpose to be helping people through her love in dentistry. Dr. Angela received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from UBC in 2011 and has been practicing in Burnaby, Coquilam, Oakridge Vancouver and Downtown Vancouver since.
Dr. Angela is committed to advancing herself in Dentistry. She takes trips to study from the best dental educators around the world, including Dr. John Kois at Kois Centre in Seattle, Dr. Gordon Christensen at PCC dental in Utah, and Carl Misch at the Misch Institute in Florida.
Dr. Angela is known for her magical hands and her caring personality along with a gentle approach. So many people have commented on her pain-free local anesthetics! Nothing is more important to her than patient feeling safe and comfortable during the visits.
Establishing Tooth Booth in 2019, Dr. Angela hopes it can become the one-of-a-kind dental office where a community forms to support, not only the patients, but the crowd around it. She wants the team to actively seek out friends needing help in the community and provide any help they can.
When Dr. Angela is not thinking about dentistry, she hangs out with her family and her little French bulldog buddy, Bodhi. She loves running, hiking and travelling to new places. Dr. Angela hopes to stay fresh, to continue bringing new ideas to the office and to serve the community for many years to come.
